Mangekyou Genjutsu is a Genjutsu Style that can only be obtained by those who have access to Mangekyou Sharingan. These Genjutsu do not damage the user's vision, as they are not pushing the very physical and spiritual limits of the jutsu caster. However, they are often very resource-expensive. They cost more than other skills of equivalent rank to perform, on TOP of the cost-per-action for Chakra when using the Mangekyou Sharingan transformation.
The various Genjutsu effects available in this Style are derived from both the Mangekyou Sharingan and the existing skills of the one who bears such eyes. This means that having existing skill in Genjutsu is REQUIRED to apply for or use ANY Genjutsu in this Style. Further, if one's basic Genjutsu style has any special rules or a specific theme to it, those rules should be adhered to as much as possible and the theme of the base Genjutsu Style should likewise be respected in regard to the over-all "feel" of one's Mangekyou-specific skills. The Mangekyou Sharingan must generally be active and in-use to perform skills of this Style. If a given Genjutsu requires the CONTROL offered by one who has practiced with Mangekyou Sharingan but is not actually RELIANT upon that level to perform, then the skill itself will generally be less effective as a result, but will also not cost the large amount of Chakra that is spent while using Mangekyou Sharingan — but only in regard to the Chakra-cost per action, as the skill itself will still have a higher-than-normal cost to use.
The exact nature and required transformations for a given Mangekyou Genjutsu will be determined based on application, qualifications, and Staff decision, as EVERY such skill applied for requires a full Staff meeting. Mangekyou Genjutsu is an ENHANCED form of normal Genjutsu. It is NOT an excuse to attempt to violate consent, break rules, or otherwise do whatever one wants. This Style does NOT grant access to Tsukuyomi.
Style Recommendation: Requires at least one Genjutsu Style.
Skill Requirements: Must have both the Mangekyou Sharingan transformation and the Sharingan III transformation.
NOTE: If this Style is not taken as the free style chosen from amongst the three Mangekyou styles available upon the initial receival of the TF, then to acquire this Style costs 4 XP and 3 XP.
