This illusionary defense is subtle and uses a minimal amount of chakra. It creates an illusion that the genjutsu has returned to an area they were a while ago. In truth, this is a minimal displacement technique that's brief yet extremely effective. In some cases this defense may be inappropriate, in particular in situations where a large area of effect attack is used, when displacement of a short distance would provide little aid in avoiding an attack.
