Skill Description
"Nerve Blank Technique" is a Ninjutsu used by Hunter-Nin who possess the Lightning Chakra Nature. It allows the jutsu caster to momentarily numb a target with a bolt of electricity that disrupts signals from the brain to the rest of the nervous system. This results in temporary paralysis of the body, with all bodily systems — other than autonomous ones, such as respiratory and circulatory systems — leaving the control and function of the target. The effect tends to wear off rather quickly, but the sudden rush of sensations returning to the body after the numbing can be almost as impairing as the paralysis itself. Either way, any injury suffered will 'wash away' the paralysis, though muscles may remain somewhat sore for a few hours after the jutsu has ceased.
