Perfect Surgery
This technique allows the Medic-Nin to enhance memory, awareness, and senses in regards to practiced and learned medical knowledge and skills, and then apply them to the present. This is done by enhancing specific mental faculties with Chakra, while inhibiting faculties not presently needed. This 'shifting' of functionality within the brain permits the medic to perform most surgical procedures with essentially 100% success rate, thanks to the previously mentioned enhancements, combined with extreme precision and steadiness of the hands. However, this rate is based on ideal environment, tool availability, and the presence of whatever assistants might be necessary to carry out the procedure. In adverse conditions, with limited supplies, or when working alone, this success rate can drop as low as 40%.
This technique cannot be used in combat and is not an instantaneous healing technique. Surgery performed with Perfect Surgery active can potentially be completed in as little as half the time a non-enhanced Medic-Nin would be able to perform the same surgery, but the patient still has to recover afterwards and heal normally. The exception is when some other technique is used to speed up recovery and healing as well — such as Mystical Palm Technique. Once the enhancement of the Medic-Nin is deactivated, he or she is likely to suffer from exhaustion due to the strain placed upon the mind and body by "over-focusing" to such a degree.
