The user draws the target into their own delusional version of events which are happening by supplying key elements — objects, other people, noises, etc. — as illusions. It's as though the target is being forced to 'play pretend' with the user. The illusions are typically nothing too horrifying or painful, but continuously sorting real from fake and concentrating on the fight in spite of all the distractions can be exhausting.
