A tag inscribed with various kanji can emit a small pulse that can cause many types of physical attack to miss their mark. Of course most types of attack that have no mass will be unaffected by the pulse, and its mostly only useful against ranged projectiles. This seal is often thrown in order to disrupt attacks mid-flight.
