"Serpent Clone Replacement" is a Ninjutsu Defense of the Doujouji Mask Ninjutsu style. It serves as a companion skill to the stealth attack "Serpent Clone". By using either the Doujouji Mask's ability to create psuedo-real snakes with the Chakra and imagination of the mask's bearer, or the Snake Contract and the Summoning Technique, a ninja can mass together a number of serpentine allies into a rough approximation of the ninja's own body and then overlay an illusion of the ninja on top of the snakes. This can make the snakes appears to be the ninja when that ninja has already changed locations to avoid an incoming attack. Once the illusion is dispelled, the snakes slither off back to where they came from — whether that be the realm of imagination, or the home of summoned snakes.
