Skill Description
"Sharingan Flicker" - This Sharingan Genjutsu defense is only possible with a fully-matured Sharingan. It allows the Uchiha to place attackers under a Genjutsu of great sophistication and subtlety, keeping the actual Chakra expenditure down, and focusing on fine control instead. Enemies have their reaction time slowed, have minor visual distortions added to their perception, and in various other minor ways it is made to appear that the Uchiha is reading their movements and moving at great speed… Always just enough faster than them to evade. This allows parrying sword attacks, moving out of the way of sonic blasts, dodging around projectiles and reducing the impact of explosions, and so on, by making attackers perceive themselves as moving at normal speed, when the Genjutsu caster is actually almost literally running circles around them. The only type of attack that isn't generally defensible with this technique is those utilizing insects, due to their physiology making them immune to Genjutsu. However, the insect users themself may still be susceptible. Depending on how much control is based upon the ninja instead of the insects, even in that situation it may be viable. Sharingan III or higher must be active to use this defense.
