Skill Description
"Tactical Retreat" is a Weapon Taijutsu Defense of the Storm Island Kenjutsu style. Knowing when to attack is important, but knowing when to run can be even more so. This defense represents the training in hit-and-run tactics that Storm Island Touketsu have utilized to survive against the hostile life forms on that island, striking quickly and then rolling, leaping, or dashing away. In the process, blades, spears, or other weapons being carried are whirled or slashed in the air during the evasion to discourage pursuit. While many forms of attack can be evaded, sound covers too wide an area at too fast a speed to avoid.
