Skill Description
'Thermal Release: Flame Dissolving Wave' is a special type of Fire Release that incorporates a Wind Release jutsu into it to create a 'wall' of heat and flame. The wall is not a normal barrier, and does not even appear to be a 'wall'. It is more like a very quick 'flash burn' that can incinerate an incoming attack completely to keep it from hitting the user. This requires split-second timing, great skill, and unshakeable concentration. Even if an attack is not stopped for some reason, the fact that part of it may well have been burned away, evaporated, or otherwise destroyed, may reduce the impact the attack has when it strikes the ninja who initiated this jutsu.
NOTE: It should be noted that this is not a viable Defense against most living opponents. Human enemies, and most animals larger than an arthropod — such as insects and spiders — cannot ICly be defended against by destroying them. Instead, this Defense either creates a heated pressure wave by destroying the air itself to knock aside a physical blow, or the heat is used to ward off the attacker by presenting a miniature inferno in his or her face or in front of the fist and so forth.
